Cincinnati vs Xavier once again. Time to break out your teams colors and gear for the annual match up between the two.
Shown nationally on ESPN2 this year, there should be a huge audience of Bearcat and Xavier alumni and college hoops fans nationwide. A little different this year with XU being ranked and The Bearcats being somewhat of an underdog up and coming team. Some say not as many care these days, and there is probably some truth to that, but reguardless of what they say bars and restaurants around the area will be filled with the faithful of both sides. The teams colors will be worn in living rooms around the city as the alumni and fans of both squads gather in their homes for the event. People will be dressed in Red, Black and White or blue and white all day long. They'll break out the gear that they may only break out once a year. They'll bust out their old college sweatshirts and hats, their old jerseys and jackets, their old underwear (well, maybe not so much with the old underwear but hey if that's your thing go ahead and knock yourself out. might not wanna brag about it too much though [img]eek.gif[/img] ) The womens shootout was this past weekend, and the Bearcats took that one setting the stage for the mens game saturday night. People all around will show the pride in their team and their alma mater just as they have done for the years gone by. The players change, the coaches change, the cheerleaders change, and the fan base changes every year as well as new fans are added as old ones pass on but one thing always remains the same. This one is our game. It's our thing, it's our night. As much as it is for the players and the schools, it's for the fans! So party on Cincinnati college hoops fans. Saturday night it's on once again! Should be a great game.

May even be a couple tickets left!
